SweThaHar, which means "friendship" in Burmese, was established in 2004 and locally registered as nonprofit organization in 2010, is a network of peace volunteers and workers who share a common interest in building peaceful relationships among and between diverse people of community. And living up to its name, it is committed to the promotion of good relationship among and between the commuity of the diverse group and ethnic tribes in the country.

Tilin (Magway) Project

Goal: To develop and enhance means and local capacity for transformation individual, family, communal, and national conflict into inclusive, just and positive outcomes in Myanmar.

Taunggyi Project

Timeline: December 2013 - May 2014

Goal: To contribute to intercultural awareness raising and interfaith dialogue among youths and their participation in peace and social development initiatives in Southern Shan State.

Kayah Project
